Joy and the Two Kittens
Joy contacted me to find out if two kittens would be a good fit for her and her 11-year-old cat, Pele. I received strong images and feelings that Joy would be a wonderful addition for both her and Pele.
Joy brought the kittens home and did all the right things in slowly introducing Ursula and Valentino into their new environment. One thing became obvious from the start: the kittens were obsessed with food. When Joy would begin preparing food, the kittens would go wild and jump up on the counter, frantically trying to get to the food. There was also conflict when the three cats were together.
I asked Joy if perhaps there was something in her life that reflected or was relative to the kitten’s behavior.
Indeed, there was. There was a parallel to the kitten’s trauma and food frenzy to Joy’s own birth “failure to thrive” start in life. Joy had worked over the years healing this trauma. Wasn’t that complete? Is there more healing needed around this?
I performed a soul retrieval and the trauma and patterns released—many that went back in Joy’s ancestral line.
What the retrieval revealed resonated with Joy, and over the next few weeks, she made big and small shifts in her life. Joy felt more relaxed, and a sense of greater freedom within.
Meanwhile Ursula, Valentino, and Pele have become friends—sleeping near each other, purring, and playing together. Feeding time, although not perfect, has also improved.
